Model the Rules - Focus on Exceptions


  • Define measures by which scenarios may be quantified in order to identify best-case solutions
  • Perform data analysis using statistical methods to build the basis for modeling
  • Configure the appropriate model with the results of the data analysis phase to produce a baseline solution
  • Validate the baseline solution against actual data to determine the accuracy of the model and the sensitivity to specific parameters
  • Evaluate alternate scenarios by changing conditions to determine the effect on the success measurement

Proprietary Tools

In addition to the standard data collection and analytical techniques in supply chain management, we use several proprietary software tools, including:

  • Monte Carlo simulation model for determining inventory parameters relative to service level
  • Linear optimization model of distribution networks
  • Multi-constraint optimization model for manufacturing processes
